Medical Care - the First Rehabilitative Hospital in Israel to offer an Integrative Medicine Protocol

Starting from the year 2022, the association operates an integrative medical rehabilitation center named Medical Care. For the first time in Israel, it implements an integrative medical protocol as part of the basic treatment for each patient. We see not only the injury but also the person behind the rehabilitation process—their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, not just the physical. Therefore, we enable our patients to benefit from a comprehensive integrative rehabilitation program, addressing body, mind, and spirit. The program includes focused therapy and advanced tools for support, awareness, and empowerment. It is designed for individuals with serious illnesses or traumatic injuries actively undergoing the rehabilitation process. The treatment is also suitable for healthy individuals seeking to recover from past traumas and challenging life events. The program is based on the InHeal method, a unique and structured approach to meaningful emotional processes and deep internal healing through a wide range of rich therapeutic approaches in a holistic process.

About the hospital:

Medical Care was established with the aim of being the leading rehabilitative and integrative medical center in Israel, introducing an improved and empowering rehabilitation protocol. This includes advanced medical rehabilitation based on cutting-edge conventional medicine, alongside integrative supportive rehabilitation that encompasses body, mind, and spirit, focusing on the emotional aspect of the disease, injury, and recovery.

The hospital operates several departments:

  1. Healing Department: Provides physical and emotional support for patients and their families after surgery or hospitalization.
  2. Respiratory and Prolonged Breathing Rehabilitation Department: Equipped with advanced technologies, it addresses a variety of respiratory issues, including ventilator weaning.
  3. Geriatric Rehabilitation Department: Helps patients regain normal function after illness, falls, fractures, brain events, prolonged bed rest, or acute illness.
  4. Geriatric Care Department: Cares for long-term care patients who require constant assistance with daily activities.
  5. Complex Care Department: Cares for patients with chronic conditions who need regular nursing and medical supervision, including advanced wound care, tracheostomy patients requiring intermittent oxygen therapy, oncology patients, dialysis patients, and chronically immobilized patients requiring palliative care.

Within the integrated protocol, hospitalized patients receive highly advanced medical treatment combined with supportive and empowering emotional therapy. This approach enhances motivation to undergo the challenging and painful rehabilitation process, enabling them to return to good and meaningful lives. Family members and medical teams also receive supportive emotional care to develop emotional resilience and stability, allowing them to continue providing optimal care for the patients.
